I’d like CV Insight to perform our background screening checks. How do I get started?
Simply select the “Open an Account” icon on our home page and complete our online account form. Once received, we set up your account within 24 hours and issue you with your login details for accessing CVI Online.
How easy is your system to use?
The system is accessible 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world via an internet connection. Simply login to our secure website and enter your candidate’s basic details (name, email address and contact telephone number), select the services required and we’ll take it from there.

What is the screening process?
The candidate is directed to our secure online application form which is branded with your corporate logo. Once they have completed their application and signed a declaration of consent we begin our investigations. On completion, our final report is delivered to you together with any accompanying documentation.
Can I check the progress of a candidate?
Yes. Simply log into your account and click on the name of the relevant candidate to track their progress, in real time, 24 hours a day. This provides you with a summary of the checks being carried out and the present status. Any negative results are always reported directly to you.
How quickly can I expect the final report?
Depending on the level and detail of screening and availability of referees, we aim to return completed UK reports within 3 to 10 working days. Some basic identity and UK credit checks can be completed with 24 hours. International reports may take a little longer and the turnaround times will vary between countries.
Delays will always be communicated to the client along with any negative information and we can provide an interim report if requested.
Can you check a candidate without their knowledge?
We cannot conduct any checks without first getting the written permission of the candidate in question. If the candidate is not willing to provide consent, we contact you straightaway.
Can you screen candidates from overseas?
Yes. We offer internationally compliant screening solutions with multi-lingual support, and provide advice and guidance on the different regulations and availability in each country.
Who do I contact if I have any queries?
All clients are allocated a named, dedicated account manager as their point of contact. However, any one of our team is happy to assist you at any time with any queries you may have. You can also call our office on 0845 130 2481.
How much does the service cost?
Costs may vary according to the background checks required please contact us to discuss your individual requirements. We have no hidden costs, no setup fees and only charge for what we actually check.
